Students Prepare for Irving’s Visit

by Michael Naclerio on September 24, 2009

We Want Irving

Residents of Craven Quad on West Campus display a sign from their window encouraging Kryrie Irving to choose Duke. The second-ranked point guard in the Class of 2010 takes his official visit to Duke this weekend.

In addition to tape that spells KYRIE in Krzyzewskiville, another sign hangs out of a room in Crowell facing Towerview Road:

Every Student a University Lawyer!?

Chill out folks. Unless specifically prohibited in student regulations, or nefariously organized/funded by some alum or University official, it’s [still?] absurd to think that something like this will result in nc2a sanctions.

In fact, I can still remember the hundreds of banners hung out telling me to choose Duke when I applied in the fall of ‘63!
