Junior guard Nolan Smith got the most attention—for someone nicknamed Showtime, was it really a surprise that he walked out to Jay-Z rocking blue stunner shades, and then ripped off his jersey to show his retro Johnny Dawkins threads underneath?—and Andre Dawkins was technically a co-winner of the dunk contest, but it was Olek Czyz and his freakish hops that stole the show Friday night in Cameron Indoor Stadium. He busted out the Carter-esque through-the-legs tomahawk, then did a 360 through-the-legs tomahawk, then convinced Seth Curry to head an alley-oop to him.
