Mike, you’re right–my mistake. The Carl Franks information probably shouldn’t have been included in the post in the first place because he was hired before the year 2000, and it has all been removed now.

Franks did not take over for Fred Goldsmith mid-season. He was hired after the 1998 season and went 3-8 his first year on his way to 7 total wins during his tenure.
