And the Jabari Parker wait appears to finally be drawing to a close.
Parker, the No. 2 recruit in the class of 2013, will announce his college decision next Thursday, Dec. 20, per Joe Henrickson of the Chicago Sun Times.
Duke is perceived to be among the favorites for the 6-foot-8 small forward, competing against Michigan State, Stanford, Florida and BYU. Tom Izzo’s Spartans are thought to be the other favorite, though he has given official visits to all of the schools except Stanford thus far.
Parker officially visited Duke for the team’s exhibition game at Cameron Indoor Stadium against Western Washington.
Parker has been dealing with a foot injury for a while, keeping him out of this summer’s AAU ball, but recently returned to action for his high school, Simeon Career Academy.
