No. 1 Duke knocked off Davidson and Wake Forest last week to keep their undefeated record thanks to the strong play of Ryan Kelly. Today, Kelly was recognized for his strong play by being named ACC Player of the Week.
Kelly set a season high with 18 points against Davidson early in the week, only to beat that mark by putting in 22 against Wake Forest Saturday. Over the two game stretch, Kelly averaged 20 points, 5.5 rebounds, and a block, while shooting an impressive 8-for-11 from three-point range.
Kelly became the fourth different Blue Devil to win ACC Player of the Week honors, joining Seth Curry, Mason Plumlee, and Quinn Cook.
