About This Blog

The Chronicle is the independent daily newspaper at Duke University and The Chronicle’s sports section is the top outlet for news on all of Duke’s 26 varsity sports. (For more information about The Chronicle or for a copy of the masthead and contact numbers, please click here.)

This blog, launched in April 2008, was formed to supplement the newspaper’s print coverage with more analysis, columns and essays and introduce audio and video to The Chronicle’s coverage of Duke Athletics. It also serves as a venue to break news and track the Blue Devils’ biggest games with live blogs. The Chronicle sends reporters to every football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball game, and regularly covers all of Duke’s other sports, too. The Chronicle’s sports section Twitter feed was launched in August 2008 to provide a one-stop resource for all blog posts and newspaper stories for Twitter users. The blog underwent its first major redesign in October 2008.
