HBO’s previously announced documentary exploring the rivalry between Duke and North Carolina, officially titled “Battle For Tobacco Road: Duke vs. Carolina” will premiere Feb. 23 at 9 p.m., the network announced in a release today.

HBO has announced the production of an hour-long documentary about the rivalry between Duke and North Carolina, similar to the documentary about Michigan and Ohio State it produced in Nov. 2007. The documentary will likely air in March to coincide with the NCAA Tournament.

HBO has acquired the rights to former Duke lacrosse head coach Mike Pressler and Don Yaeger’s book, It’s Not About the Truth.
