This morning, The Chronicle’s independent editorial board published its final editorial of Volume 104, and in keeping with tradition, avoided its typical tune of wonkish policy suggestions. Instead, it published a list of satirical reasons why Gerald Henderson should stay at Duke for his senior season.

Citing two unnamed NBA sources, WRAL reported Monday morning that Duke junior Gerald Henderson will forego his final year of eligibility to declare for the NBA Draft, but multiple Duke officials refuted the report to The Chronicle, claiming that Henderson is still evaluating his options.

If Gerald Henderson decides to leave Duke early for the NBA Draft, he will at least go out with All-American recognition.
